Launch Monitor Services

Sometimes, the solution to finding a better game is as simple as finding the best fit in your golf clubs.
Golfers of all abilities can benefit from club analysis and custom clubfitting. An analysis and/or fitting can take anywhere from five minutes to ninety minutes to learn about the best equipment options for your game, and leave with the confidence that the clubs you using or about to purchase help you build your best game.
Your analysis experience measures your clubhead speed, launch angle, ball velocity, ball spin, carry distance, and power transfer ratio. The numbers are paired with ball-flight observations then computed to generate your custom specifications. You'll be hitting outdoors in a relaxed environment with a specially trained fitting expert. You'll find the ideal club model, loft, shaft type, flex, length, lie, and grip size for your game.
When your analysis and/or fitting is complete you will be presented one or more of the following reports:
- Session Summary Report contains Company, Golfer and session recommendations.
- All Shots Report contains individual metrics for each shot for the clubs selected.
- Club Gapping Report contains carry and total distance metrics for each item selected at a shot average level for each selected item.
- Consistency Report shows the Consistency Index by club. This index is the sum of the standard deviations of all readings (distance, ball velocity, club speed, and power transfer ratio), subtracted from 100 (the theoretical “perfect” consistency reading). The higher the Consistency Index, the more consistent the readings for the club.
- Swing Analysis Recommendations - This is the Clubfitter's observation of the customers swing and can be presented to your local Teaching Professional for further swing improvements and is based on:
- Tempo
- Transition
- Trajectory
- Consistency
- Feel
Objective: To improve consistency, accuracy and distance with properly fitted woods.
- Interview
- Evaluation of Current Woods
- Frequency/Flex
- Length
- Shaft Weight
- Kickpoint
- Loft
- Torque
- Grip

Some interesting facts:
A strong player who generates a lot of ball speed wants to launch the drive at a high launch angle with little spin. Such a player might need a stiffer shaft to produce lower backspin so the ball doesn't balloon up into the air and lose distance. This player wants to see the ball reach its apex, then plateau out and fly down range before falling to the ground. Slower swingers could use more flexible shafts [and higher lofted drivers] to produce backspin that will keep the ball in the air longer for more distance.
In general, tour players who generate ball speed of more than 170 miles per hour (115- to 120-mph swing speed) can optimize distance with a launch angle of 12 or 13 degrees and a backspin rate of approximately 2,500 revolutions per minute. Golfers with ball speed in the 135-mph range (90- to 95-mph swing speed) would benefit from a higher launch angle of 14 or 15 degrees and a spin rate of more than 3,000 rpm.
